VIDEO/PROJECTION DESIGNER 

A Northern Lights Dream is a magical opera that Dalhousie's Fountain School of Performing Arts Opera Department produced in January and February of 2022, but unfortunately it was only able to be performed live for a small invited audience. I was hired on as a professional video/projection designer to design and build the projections. I primarily used the Adobe suite, Affinity Designer, and Q-Lab. I was tasked with providing locational context for each scene while also playing into the magic of the script. This meant I got to design and build architectural elements like the bridal shop windows, a neon skating rink sign, and a hilltop scene, as well as some more surreal elements like my version of Aurora Borealis.
