VIDEO/PROJECTION DESIGNER & LIGHTING DESIGNER

Working as projection and lighting designer for STORM, a celebratory album play through concert and live podcast, dreamed up by Christina Martin, was one of my favourite contracts to date! We began early collaborations to imagine, build and test a series of animated projections that filled the whole back cyc wall of the stage. I worked off of the album artwork designed and created by Nicole Aline Legault and made used of Cherakee Andresen's studio photography of Christina. All content was created to be toured by a touring team within Qlab, where one could rearrange the order or the setlist with ease. For the first show at Alderney Landing Theatre, I operated the projections in time with my in-ear click track.

With only limited time for hang and focus, I feel proud of my focus on a cohesive colour palette and isolated highlight spots in my lighting design. We wanted to create a series of looks that could be used as an achievable foundation for other iterations of this concert.
